Tanzania Beach Holidays
The shores of East Africa are lapped by the Indian Ocean; brilliantly blue and beautifully warm, creating beaches to dream about. The coral sands of the mainland and islands are soft, white and powdery and the sea teems with colourful marine life. These are fabulous beaches and the perfect complement to the excitement and adventure of a Tanzania safari.

Zanzibar
Zanzibar has become synonymous with beautiful white sand beaches and stunning coral reefs in crystal clear waters. The archipelago consists of two larger islands – Unguja and Pemba. Where Unguja is famous for its beaches, resorts, and historic Stone Town, Pemba is sometimes known as ‘The Green Island’ and is known for its spice production and its pristine dive sites.
Zanzibar is renowned for its luxurious resorts, and the captivating historic charm of Stone Town. Lose yourself in the rhythm of island life as you stroll along powdery sands, bask in the warm sun, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture. Whether you seek tranquility or adventure, Zanzibar’s beaches offer all that and more.

Mafia Island
Mafia Island is the most culturally original and environmentally natural of Tanzania’s Indian Ocean islands, visited by the few who know its charms and desire a special adventure. It offers the complete island experience from intense activity to complete laid-back, feet-up bliss.
Still little known to travel agents and tour operators and travelers worldwide, Mafia receives fewer than seven thousand people a year. It attracts those who have a wish to get away from the crowds and explore something new and experience nature and local culture that has not been disturbed by urban or industrial development and mass tourism. No hustle, no hassle, just old-fashioned Island Life.

Pangani
Pangani is a small town with a long history. The town has Arabic, German, Asian and British Colonial roots and influences. This is a place where Swahili, Arab, colonial traditions and modern hospitality blends together.
Pangani is located at the mouth of Pangani River that collects its water from Mt Kilimanjaro and Meru. Here you will enjoy clean beaches where endangered Green Turtles breeds, coral reefs, and the Old Port.
The Pangani River passes through the northern side of the town, separating the old buildings and the present-day market from the farms and small houses on the southern side. It requires a ferry to cross, its dark brown waters filled with alluvial silt as it meanders slowly into the ocean.
